SINOPSIS: Un grupo de amigos viaja por las colinas de Suttersville, a pesar de los avisos del Sheriff Murphy, que trata de impedírselo. Durante su aventura descubren oro en las profundidades de una antigua mina, pero no saben que, sin querer acaban de despertar al espíritu de un viejo minero muerto hace más de 100 años y que se convierte en una imparable máquina de matar. El legendario minero irá acabando uno a uno con casi todos ellos hasta que una solitaria montañera descubre a los supervivientes las claves para acabar con él. (FILMAFFINITY)

Un slasher pasable con Vernon Wells,de villano una vez mas, encarnando al malvado Jeremiah Stone. Por la pinta que tiene (El Jeremías) puede que se inspiraran en el Creeper de "Jeepers Creepers" estrenada un año antes en el 2001. Tambien aparecen otros veteranos conocidos, como Karen Black alertando a los incautos protagonistas, Richard Lynch en un breve papel de hombre solitario o Martin Kove que hace practicamente un cameo.
