Sinopsis;   
Valerie Harper interpreta a una mujer, que por circunstancias familiares se ve obligada a viajar sola en su coche durante toda la noche. Tan pronto inicia su viaje, presencia casualmente el asesinato de un policía. Esta noche, será la noche más larga de su vida y quizás su última noche...

Un largo y aburrido viaje de Phoenix a Denver, se convierte para la madre protagonista en una pesadilla. Y no precisamente por un pinchazo o alguna avería, desgraciadamente la persigue un asesino por las laaaargas carreteras norteamericanas.
