Sinopsis; En la ciudad de Bagdag se produce un golpe de estado. Los cabecillas de la rebelión son Rabeck y Ganor, este último muy introducido en palacio por el alto cargo que ocupa. En la revuelta asesinan al rey y hacen prisioneros a sus hijos, Daikor y Soraya. Ganor, que siempre ha estado enamorado de Soraya, intenta aprovecharse de ella, pero ésta salta al río que circunda la ciudad. Anthar y Mudo la encuentran en la turbulentas aguas y la acogen. Los tres deciden unirse y luchar contra sus enemigos.
