Sinopsis; Corey Webster y sus amigos son unos jóvenes que viven por y para el skateboarding. Su afición es tal que deciden ir en verano a San Francisco para participar en una peligrosa carrera que se conoce con el nombre de La Masacre. Una vez allí conocen a una banda de skaters encabezados por Tommy Hook, los Daggers. La rivalidad de cara a la gran carrera no ha hecho sino comenzar, y más cuando Corey comienza a salir con Chrissy, una preciosa chica que resulta ser la hermana pequeña de Tommy.
