Sinopsis; El Dr. Larry Forbes, cientifico americano, llega de viaje a Francia para contraer matrimonio con su prometida la señorita Madeleine Renault, hija del famoso cientifico Dr. Renault. A Forbes lo recoje a su llegada un tipo algo raro y excentrico que responde al nombre de Noel, este es asistente personal del Dr. Renault y ademas en secreto ama a la señorita Madeleine.
Nuestros protagonistas llegan a las fiestas que hay en el pueblo, y alli ocurren dos inexplicables asesinatos, pronto se sabra que en realidad Noel es el resultado de un experimento del Dr. Renault que convirtio a un simio en hombre tras muchas operaciones y experimentos, pero Noel aun tiene dentro su instinto animal...
