Comentario: Impresionante caracterizacion de Lon Chaney, siendo ademas el autor de su propio maquillaje. Muy buenos decorados y ambientacion. Un clasico en toda regla!!

Phantom.Of.The.Opera.1929.Restored.Version.[Goettersturm.DivX].aviEs la misma, solo que la reestrenaron con algunos efectos sonoros añadidos, y ademas esta version al ser restaurada y estar mejor conservada tiene partes en color ,que en otras copias estan en B/N (color original de la epoca)
Hay subtitulos, cunado los encuentre los pongo

La versión que se postea ha sido restaurada a partir de la versión de 1925, con música original de Gabriel Thibadeau y fragmentos cantados de las óperas. También rescata el prólogo en los subterráneos, efectos en color como la capa roja del Fantasma y el siniestro rostro del mensajero de Erik, y la célebre secuencia del baile de máscaras rodada en Technicolor.

Notas a las distintas ediciones:CitarSims: Contiene algunas escenas que yo no recuerdo haber visto, mejor dicho haber visto con esas combinaciones de colores, por ejemplo la capa roja en la escena de Chaney subido a la estatua. El desenmascaramiento está en tono amarillo y con mucha mas nitidez. La película en general tiene mucha nitidez. Los ripeos que yo tenía siempre estaban algo desenfocados o suavizados (...) En las capturas del ripeo de Kg que he visto la escena en Technicolor tiene mas color todavía, está mejor, además no tiene tonos grises, mas bien sepia y un color cercano a "piel" en las manos. Respecto a definición, no estoy seguro, tal vez sea variable en diferentes escenas, no tiene definición constante el ripeo de ex vagos. Lo que es seguro es que no defraudará ninguna de las dos versiones, y va a estar realmente bien tenerlas juntas.
Keller: Creo que en materia de definición el ripeo de KG está un poco mejor. No obstante, los entintados de éste son distintos, sí, la escena de la capa que mencionas, y la del mensajero de la oscuridad, que son las que vi así, rapidamente. También incluye la escena a color del baile de máscaras.
