Sinopsis; En el año 1936, un día antes de comenzar la Guerra Civil Española, un joven sacerdote pierde la fe en la Iglesia al considerar que no está cerca de sus feligreses. Al día siguiente debe tener los cinco sentidos en que no le detengan pues las tropas republicanas, tras destruir la catedral, le buscan como enemigo del pueblo. También hay otro sacerdote, que posee una Santa Reliquia que el pueblo considera que el bando que la posea ganará la Guerra. El joven sacerdote encuentra a una bella mujer y ambos se enamoran.
Comentario; Pelicula poco conocida a pesar de su espectacular reparto.
